SAMPLE CONTENT — not a real petition, shown to preview the site. More than 400 pupils wait for school buses on an open roadside with no shelter from rain or the afternoon sun. Parents have asked for a covered bus stop for two years. We ask the Penang Island City Council to build a covered shelter with seating before the next monsoon season.

    SAMPLE RESPONSE. The council has approved a covered bus shelter with seating at SK Sungai Ara. Construction is scheduled to finish within four weeks.
